It would be fair to argue that Elden Ring's economy is somewhat lopsided. While it is possible to make a living as a merchant in the Lands Between, it is much more lucrative to simply murder a large number of people and sift through their belongings in search of valuable runes. However, when in a state of frenzied looting, you are likely to pick up a few cheap Elden Ring items, some of which may prove more beneficial than others.
If you hate having a messy inventory but could use a few hundred runes, it might be worth it to contact a merchant and unload some of these products. In the beginning stages of the game, when nearly everything can kill you instantly, every rune counts. The path to Elden Lord is paved with hard work.
Dismantled Piece of Ruin
The ruins of Limgrave are one of the first things you'll notice when you enter the Lands Between. Even the most jaded traveler would be tempted to investigate the scattered wall fragments because of the little stones that sparkle across their surface. Are they hidden in the lore of the world like so many other things in Soulsborne games? What secrets do these mysterious objects hold?
Not much, I'm afraid. The item description alludes to a temple that crashed to Earth, but otherwise these stones are largely useless unless you're trying to craft Rainbow Stones out of them. Although you won't get rich selling them, you will earn some runes that could come in handy early on if you find a merchant to buy them from you.
The Grace Mimic
To the untrained eye, Grace Mimics appear to have a wide range of potential applications. Make your own saving grace to point you in the correct direction. Awesome!
This phony haven of grace, however, is largely ineffective. Even though it looks to be designed for PvP, you shouldn't rest at it because its putrid ray aims in an unpredictable direction and it's not very effective. All you need to know is that they are on sale at Patches. Those are just joke products that are funny to annoy your buddies with. Even though you'll only get ten runes for each item, it's better to have some cash on hand than to have these items taking up space in your warehouse.
Low-Quality Stones for Making Tools
You'll acquire a sack full of smithing stones at level one or two, and you should hold on to them for the time being. These are easy to come by, and while they are immensely helpful, they are best used when comparing a new weapon to your current main. Walk into any cave, and you'll find them sprawled out on the floor.
Since first-level smithing stones are so plentiful, they can be easily resold for a little amount of runes. Don't pass on any items with melancholy or old dragon in their titles, though. These precious gems are exceedingly uncommon and fetch astronomical prices due to their scarcity.
The success or failure of the Beast Blood Elden Ring's crafting system depends on the player. On the one hand, there are DIY objects that have countless practical applications. On the other hand, the game's combat relies heavily on pattern recognition and quick reactions, so you may find yourself ignoring consumables in favor of honing your dodging skills.
That's why Beast Blood is such a hot commodity in the market. You can find it just about anywhere, and the things you can make with it aren't exactly user-friendly. You won't get very far with 50 runes, but at least it beats carrying around a load of real blood that you have no intention of using.
