Jagex declares that "a brand-new experience that will make up part of the Elder God Wars storyline" will replace Duel Arena in the early 2022 timeframe OSRS Gold, but no further details have been provided yet.
While the effect of these changes has yet to be assessed it is clear that they are one of the most effective measures any studio has made in order to protect against external misuse of its system to achieve financial gain. If successful, similar actions will be observed across the MMO space in future.
Jagex is announcing that, after 18 years as the battlefield for PvP, Duel Arena will be moving out of RuneScape and a new zone can be added. RuneScape is scheduled to unveil Het's Oasis that will have a brand new terrain, new skills and two mini-quests that you can play.
Beginning today, with the Oasis Restoration The players will be tasked in the transformation process of the Duel Arena following a cataclysmic earthquake that devastated the entire area. Players must work together to turn the the arena from "a bloodthirsty fighting pit, where the greatest heroes have staked their fortunes in one-on-one battles in order to create a serene oasis."
Players will be able to reconstruct the space and will be able to complete daily tasks that earn them rewards in line with their achievements. Those who take part in the event for community members will receive special event rewards which include a new Crocodile pet, a title, desert-themed cosmetic armour, and 'Gators' footwear.
After the two-week community event the area that was rebuilt will be called Het's Oasis an area for exploration and learning, with a variety of information and Cheap RS Gold content related to skills for those seeking to enhance their Agility, Hunter and Farming skills.
